Terms & Conditions


1. All bookings are made with Snowdonia Climbing whose registered address is 9 Isfryn Terrace, BLAENAU FFESTINIOG, Gwynedd, LL41 4DF.

2. A Provisional Booking is made on receipt of a completed Booking Form by Snowdonia Climbing. Receipt of a 40% deposit or full payment will constitute a Reserved Booking. For bookings made less than 4 weeks prior to the course starting, payment in full is required.

3. Once a Reserved Booking has been made, Snowdonia Climbing will email the client confirming receipt of the deposit paid and confirming the booking as reserved. Snowdonia Climbing will also dispatch an Info Pack by email detailing other information regarding the course at the same time.

4. The balance of the course cost in full must be received no later than 4 weeks prior to the course starting. Snowdonia Climbing reserves the right to reassign course vacancies should balances not be received within 4 weeks of courses starting. In such circumstances, any monies paid to that date will be returned in full.

5. Course costs are payable by cheque to 'MA Laing'.

6. Snowdonia Climbing accepts no liability for the death of or personal injury to any persons on their courses, nor any loss or damage resulting there from unless caused by the proven negligence of the company or its servants. Nor does Snowdonia Climbing accept responsibility for the loss or expense due to delays or changes in travel services, sickness, weather or any other cause outside the control of Snowdonia Climbing.

7. When making a booking, it is implied that the client has read and understood these terms and conditions and agrees to abide by them.


1. All cancellations must be made in writing and the date of cancellation shall be the date of receipt by Snowdonia Climbing.

2. The client's insurance may provide cover against unavoidable cancellation.

3. If the client cancels 4 weeks or more before the course is due to start, all monies paid to that date will be refunded by Snowdonia Climbing.

4. If the client cancels less than 4 weeks before the course is due to start, all monies paid to that date less the 40% deposit will be refunded by Snowdonia Climbing.

5. If a client cancels, they may, if they wish, book onto an alternative course subject to availability.


1. Every attempt will be made by Snowdonia Climbing to ensure that courses will run as programmed. However, Snowdonia Climbing reserves the right to cancel a course at any time prior to start of the course if Snowdonia Climbing believes there are reasonable grounds for cancellation due to unsuitable conditions.

2. In the event that Snowdonia Climbing has to cancel a course, the following options will be offered to clients with a Provisional or Reserved Booking on that course:

a. A full refund of all monies paid to that date.

b. A place on an identical course at an alternative date.
